インターン生の高味さんから英文レポートが届きました。
旅先のドイツからです。
高校時代留学していたこともあって英語が堪能な彼女。8月から約１ヶ月半、友人を訪ねヨーロッパを旅しています。（素敵…）
その間の連絡はもちろんメール。こちらからは日本語ですが、彼女側のPCからは日本語変換ができないので、英文（！）で返ってくるのです。
英文届く⇒訳す⇒理解する⇒返信する・・・・のやりとりが面白くなってきて、それなら・・そうだ！とレポートをお願いしました。
ドイツ、黒い森からのレポートです。

I was in Schwarzwald from 21st to 24th of August. I stayed in Freiburg, one of the city situated in the Black Forest. Black forest was way too big to visit all around in couple of days, that I could only go to two places.
8月2１日から24日まで、私は黒い森にある都市フライブルクに滞在しました。黒い森はあまりにも広大で数日でまわることが出来ないので、2か所に絞って訪ねることにしました。



First I went to Schauinsland with 1284 meters height. I walked from bottom to top of the mountain for about 4 hours. On my way, I was able to see the place where they cut trees in line. I saw some conifers forest, broad leave forest and mixed forest. I also saw some alpine plants and flowers with so many bees!

最初に標高1284㍍の山、シャオイントラストに登りました。約4時間歩いて着いた頂上からは、列で伐採された木の跡がラインのように続いている場所を見ることができました。針葉樹の森と広葉樹の森と混交林があり、たくさんの高山植物や美しい花の周りには、たくさんのミツバチが飛び回っていました！



Here is a funny story about bees.
Somebody told me that in Germany, there are bees all over the city, even inside the shops where they sell food. And that´s because there are a lot of natures close to where people lives.
ここにはミツバチに関する面白い話があります。ミツバチは街の中にあるどこの食べ物屋さんにもいるんだよと誰かが言っていました。それはミツバチが人間の生活に近づくという習性からだそうです。



there was something like bee killer liquid when I went to one restaurant. It smelled sweet to bees, attract them and when they try to stuck their mouse in it, it will catch them. So during the time I was私がある店に行った時のこと、ミツバチを捕まえるための液体を入れたボウルがありました。甘い匂いで引き寄せられたミツバチが足を取られてしまう仕組みです。

eating my meal, there was many bees flying around it and by the time I finished my meal, there was more than 10 of then inside the bowl of the liquid!!!!
食事をしている間中、周りにミツバチはたくさん飛んでいました。食事を終えて、ボウルの中を覗くと10匹以上のミツバチが捕まっていました！！！



Next, I went to Titisee (lake) and Feldberg, the highest mountain in the black forest with 1493 meter. For most of the places, they only had grasses but sometimes there was conifer trees and so on. While I was walking, I found tree which fell over from its root part!
次に、私はティティゼー湖と、黒い森で中で最高峰の山、フェルトベルク（標高1493㍍）に行きました。草原のところどころに針葉樹の木々がある場所を歩いているとき、 私は根っこから倒れた木を発見しました！



I could see that it did not spread its root vertically deep into the soil, but spread them horizontally. It might be because there were so many rocks around it.
そこはたくさんの岩がある場所だったので、根を水平方向に張ることはできても、垂直に深く張ることが出来なかったのでそうなってしまったのでしょう。



I had fun observing trees and flowers So I wish to go back there to stay longer and go all over the Black Forest.
ここで私は興味深い木や花を観察することができました。いつかまた戻り、もっと長く滞在して黒い森すべての場所に行ってみたいと思います。
